A little info about me
My name is Ben Pinkerton, I am 28 years old and I live in Leeds. I'm originally from South London and, for my sins, support the mighty Crystal Palace. There's not much that can faze me (hence the name, Unfazed) and I'm always up for a challenge!

My Previous
I moved to Leeds about 5 years ago and I have enjoyed every minute of it. Along the way I've worked with some interesting employers and had some interesting roles, including:
- Website maintainer and general web person within the Marketing Dept. at JamJarCars
- Website designer, client relationship and sometime project manager at specialist Content Management System firm, Cubik (3 years service)
I decided to take the plunge and go it alone in February 2007 and since then I have been a full-time freelancer and contract worker.
My Expertise
My core skills are in the following areas and practices:
- HTML / CSS / Javascript
- Usability / Accessibility
- XML / XSLT
- VBScript / Access
- Photoshop / Illustrator
I also have working experience of:
- C# .net / SQL Server
- Microsoft Content Management Server 2002 (MCMS 2002)
- Sharepoint
- TeamSite
- Flash / Actionscript
I've found my most invaluable skill is my ability to talk to non-technical people about technical issues. It is something that has helped me throughout my career and ensured good working relationships with people from various professional backgrounds and disciplines.
